Welcome,
The Codington County Heritage Museum is located in Watertown's old Carnegie Library on the corner of Maple Street and First Avenue South East and offers changing exhibits, permanent exhibits, special events, programs and research assistance.
In addition to onsite programs museum staff also do presentations for groups around the county. Call for a list of available programs and scheduling.

Our Mission
The mission of the Codington County Historical Society and Heritage Museum is to collect, preserve and disseminate the history of the county in order to educate the community and stimulate an appreciation for our local history.
Our History
The Codinton County Heritage Museum, formerly the Kampeska Heritage Museum, has been collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of Codington County since it was formed in 1975.
