MISSION To preserve, interpret, and disseminate the heritage of Codington County, South Dakota. This is primarily fulfilled by the operation of the Codington County Heritage Museum in Watertown, South Dakota, with its exhibits, programs, and object, archival, and photographic collections. LOCATION The Codington County Heritage Museum is located at the corners of 1st Avenue Southeast and Maple Street in uptown Watertown. MAP MUSEUM HOURS Memorial Day through Labor Day, hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., closed Sundays and holidays. September through April, hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00-5:00 p.m., closed Saturdays, Sunday, and holidays. School and group tours are welcome. ADMISSION Admission is free.
